Decentralized, community-owned twitter-like social media platform based on Mastodon for news and analysis. This community fosters n-way communication, allowing end users to interact with experts in a self-moderated forum. Individuals within the community may also interact with a global Fediverse of ActivityPub servers running a variety of application types.

Members of our community may not only interact with each other and the many experts we have assembled here but are free to interact with tens of millions of users in the wider Open Social Web. Often referred to as the “Fediverse” this is a collection of tens of thousands of decentralized application servers all using the W3C ActivityPub Protocol. Because of this standard protocol users can interact: post, follow, like and comment regardless of the application service they are using. Users can even move from one server to another without losing connection to their followers or those they are following!
